Holly Bank Surgery in Headingley is around half a mile south of the centre of Far Headingley. As for transport, buses go along Otley Road at least every 10 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays from 7am to 6pm. The main routes are 1, 6, 97 and X84.
Far Headingley has a sizeable student population, which can be attributed to the nearby Headingley Campus of Leeds Beckett University that hires lecturers, researchers and admin staff. Other employers of note here include Leeds City Council and Village Hotels, who run the Village Urban Resort.
