Parklane Is ‘Fully Endorsed' By The SAFE Agent Scheme

SAFE – an acronym for ‘Safe Agent Fully Endorsed’ - is a voluntary kitemark denoting firms that protect landlords and tenants’ money through client money protection chemes. The scheme is an industry initiative aimed at raising standards in the private rented sector.

SAFE Agent status reassures landlords and tenants that their money is kept completely separate from the operating funds of the agent, keeping income and deposits safe. In addition to Government support for the scheme, key organizations in the industry including, National Union of Students, Which?, Citizens Advice Bureau, Shelter, Crisis, The Property Ombudsman, Consumer Focus, OFT, GLA and Trading Standards Institute have all allied themselves to the scheme.

We Can Help You Find Flatmates!

Not sure who to share your house with? Looking for new friends? Parklane can help setup your perfect student house-share! We periodically hold ‘housemate speed dating’ events where students can meet a large number of potential housemates and find suitable matches. Apart from face to face ‘dates’, the event also includes games and fun activities to determine compatibility.

On Monday 7th April we hosted our inaugural housemate speed dating Leeds event at The Box Headingley. The evening was well attended, with live premiership football for the lads and a Parklane sponsored pub quiz with a £100 winning prize. The event was a great success and was even covered by the local press.
